A Female Monologue by
Bruce Kane
WOMAN: For a while now I’ve had this recurring fantasy of meeting a
handsome stranger who’d cross a crowded room just to tell me how beautiful
I am. That I’m the woman he’s been waiting for all his life and
that he must have dinner with me or die. Of course I accept. I know it’s
a line but what’s a girl to do? After all, a man’s life hangs
in the balance. The night of our first date, we bathe… Separately, of
course. After all, I’m not the kind of girl who showers on the first
date.
