Everybody
in the Class of '61 wants to know what everybody else in the
Class of '61 has been doing since graduation and what we are
all doing now. So, send us a paragraph or two and we'll post
it right here. Email your information to

Dorothy
Sherwood Foster
Editor, Class of '61 Yearbook
After a 25 year career as a librarian at Calaveras High School,
I retired, moved to Oroville, and continue to indulge in my
passion for horses. I participate in competitive endurance
rides with my gray Arab mare, Ravvens Allure. Bob, my husband
of 45 years still prefers airplanes to horses, but he puts
up with my obsession very patiently. My sister, Shirley Sherwood,
class of '66, retired from IRS about 6 years ago and moved
about 1/2 mile away. She shares my love of horses and we are
very happy living up here next to the riding trails around
Lake Oroville.
Steve
Pace
I'm
volunteering in enemy territory at the Bechtel International
Center at Stanford. I’m meeting with foreign students
or their spouses in a program called English In Action which
is most interesting. I took a campus tour which they permit
Cal graduates on the condition that you must behave yourself.
When I got to the top of the Hoover Tower, I couldn’t
resist asking how one got the rest of the way up. My guides
seemed a little confused until I pointed that the tower seemed
so short in comparison to the tower on the Berkeley campus.
My guide told me “You’re not behaving yourself.”
Oh well, the truth will out.
